Our Process

Step 1 - Book a 15 minute introductory phone call

I respect your time and want to help you make an educated and informed decision about hiring your next Financial Advisor.

There’s no hard sell and no pressure to do anything further.

If we both feel we have a fit between what you’re looking for and what I’m good at, I’ll invite you to schedule a strategy session.

If not, no worries. Hopefully you learned something new and we can part ways as friends. If you like, I can help connect you with another Advisor that might be better suited to your needs. I’ll never contact you again unless you ask me to.

Step 2 - We meet face to face for a strategy session

Like many of you, I work from home. While most of my clients enjoy the convenience of meeting at their kitchen tables, I recognize not everyone is comfortable with that approach.

We can also meet at your favorite local restaurant or do a FaceTime call. It’s your time and I want you to feel comfortable.

During the meeting, we’ll aim to get a handle on your goals, concerns and unique situation.

At the end of the meeting, you’ll only have one decision to make. Whether or not you want me to take your information back to my office and develop a complimentary 1-Page Financial Action Checklist. There’s no charge for the plan and it’s yours to keep. You can use it to evaluate any other Financial Advisors you may be considering.

Step 3 - We meet again to review your Financial Action Checklist

Before you pay me a penny in fees or trust me with a dollar of your hard earned money, I want you experience what it’s like to work with me.

I’ll walk you through all of my personal recommendations.

You’ll get clear answers to 4 important questions…

  1. Can you afford your desired lifestyle in retirement?

  2. Have you put your money in the right places?

  3. Are you overpaying your taxes?

  4. Have you eliminated, or at least reduced any major threats to your retirement?

Step 4 - Sleep on it

At the end of our 2nd meeting, I’ll ask you if you would like to begin working together, or if you want to sleep on it.

I’ve been in business for over 10 years, so I’m in no rush for you to make a decision.

Prior to deciding if we should work together, you’ll want to answer the questions below…

  1. Do I like/trust Mark and his firm?

  2. Will the benefits they provide exceed the cost?

  3. Do I understand and agree with their investment philosophy?

  4. Do their recommendations make sense to me?

If this process sounds good, let’s make sure my qualifications meet your standards
